International Seminar: “Financial Inclusion: New Tools for Overcoming Poverty”
The objective of the Seminar is to position Financial Inclusion as a key tool for overcoming poverty and reducing vulnerability, and identify the main challenges that confront Chile in this area. The Seminar is directed towards audience such as: banks, microfinance institutions, compensation funds and other financial institutions, scholars, the media, Superintendences of Banks and Financial Institutes, Superintendences of Securities and Insurances, Central Bank, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and the general public.
The Seminar counts with the participation of Chilean Social Minister Joaquín Lavín and Peruvian Social Minister Carolina Trivelli. Further, we have invited internationally renowned experts in Financial Inclusion from the region who will enrich the discussion:
