Brazil without Misery - National Plan Addressing Equity

In this Virtual Seminar we will be present the program "Brazil without Misery", which is an expanded and improved adaptation of the program "Bolsa Familia”
The National Plan addresses inequities in income and seeks to ameliorate poverty of low-income families through the direct distribution of monetary transfers.   The purpose of the program is to increase human and social capital of these families and to improve their opportunities of development by fulfilling with certain conditionalities of the program, such as access to education, nutritional monitoring, vaccination, and the use of other social services.

Furthermore, some aggregate factors to the new program of poverty reduction are:   improvement of access to the public services of education and medical assistance, and infrastructure (drinking water, electricity and sewerage) and, increase in "productive inclusion" by improving the economic means of Brazilians through the creation of jobs, vocational training and microcredits….”
