WHAT IS THE JOBS CHALLENGE IN CENTRAL AMERICA?
During the past decade, following a long period of political turmoil and civil conflict, most Central American countries achieved moderate economic growth, low rates of inflation, and an increase in foreign direct investment. These positive developments are the result of sound macro-economic and fiscal policies and trade reforms.
