April is the month of Financial Inclusion and Public-Private Partnerships at the IASPN. We are planning a major Conference in New York City (April 29-30) that will bring together Senior Officials from Ministries of Social Protection from Latin America and the Caribbean, the financial services sector, foundations and other key stakeholders with the objective of discussing a way forward for partnerships on financial inclusion in the region.
There are many successful stories on this topic and we want to know more about them. We are looking for short stories that highlight the impact of local public-private partnership initiatives for financial inclusion directed at disadvantaged groups. Would you like to share some of the stories of your local initiative?
Here are some details:
- The story could feature a beneficiary / family / local community.
- The text should not exceed 1,000 words and should include photographs (3-5).
- You can submit the entry in English OR Spanish. The IASPN Team will help with the translation.
- The deadline to submit an entry is Tuesday, April 15th, 2014.
Selected stories will be featured in the IASPN Blog in April and will be displayed at the Conference in New York City. If you or anyone you know would like to take advantage of this opportunity, e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
