In this video by UNDP, Verónica Silva, Senior Social Protection Specialist at the World Bank, talks about the challenges for integrating different sectors and institutions in the implementation of Conditional Cash Transfer Programmes (CCT) in Latin America. The interview is part of the World Without Poverty (WWP) Initiative's multimedia series, a partnership between the Brazilian Ministry of Social Development and Fight against Hunger (MDS), the Institute for Applied Economic Research, the World Bank and the International Policy Centre for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG) of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The interviews ask government representatives and specialists about the recent developments in social protection policies in Latin America. The interviews were conducted during the International Seminar on CCTs in Latin America and the Caribbeans and the Face-to-Face Meeting of the Latin America Community of Practice on Labor Policies held on June 17-19, 2013, in Brasilia, Brazil.
